Since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, the education system has been adversely impacted as all the schools were shut initially and had to adapt to online mode of learning. It led to disengaging students from formal education for a prolonged period. With the shift to online education, issues like lack of internet accessibility and non-availability of digital devices further complicated the imparting of education to students. Government schools were especially badly impacted due to this sudden shift and the lack of facilities required to adapt to the new normal in these uncertain times. Hence, Honda partnered with Convegenius Foundation to undertake the initiative of supporting learning of 75,000 government school students in Rajasthan through Whatsapp based home learning model. Under this model, students are provided learning sessions through a virtual teacher bot on WhatsApp.
